Why not call up insurance companies? NO ONE here can give you rates, there are way too many factors that go into formulate rates.

Just get the answer from the actual insurance companies, no some schmucks here guess at it.

It varies a lot from state to state, even city to city. The two vehicles will be similar in price. It would be impossible to guess since we don’t know where you are. Just look in the yellow pages for a broker who deals with state farm, or something like that, to get started. Of course, show around with Geico and Progressive to get the best deal.

I’m more of a Ford guy, but with the F-250’s of that era, I would go with the Chevy. They tend to be more durable. Most of all, avoid the Ford diesel, if the one you’re looking at has one.
