Purchased a 2006 PT Cruiser in the United States and Imported into Canada. Mandatory in Canada to have DTR on all new vehicles. Need this to work or I can not licence the vehicle. Help Please !!!

What is the sales tax for a normal car? What is the sales tax for luxury cars? At what price point do they consider a car to be "luxury" car?
The sales tax is 6% for any car tagged in PA. Does not matter what kind, price of car.

Since the economic downturn people may be out of work, but still need transportation. So their only choice is a used car.
