How is that awesome Army Assault Breacher Vehicle doing in Afghanistan?
February 21st, 2010 | by admin |Are they suffering much damage from the IEDs?
I don’t want to rain on your "enthusiasm" about the army’s new (and EXPENSIVE) toy…?
But the better the military tries to shield itself from attacks, the more vulnerable they become.
It won’t be long before the insurgents come up with a way of penetrating the Breecher–if they come across it at all; seeing how there are so few units being sent to the Afghan front.
(At first.)
And then what? What’s the military going to do when the Breecher becomes obsolete–because it’s now vulnerable to more *penetrating* IEDs?
Who do think is going to have to PAY for the military’s insatiable defense spending–especially when it comes to improvised R&D?
