    i loved scorpion… …
    i loved scorpion….it was great to fire great to drive….it was part of my life for a long time…ive froze my of in it when the heater packed up…ive warmed my whole body (nearly) on the decks…ive scalded my hands on getting cans out of the BV…ive cut my hands on removing its enginegaerbox and firewall…ive raced along the autobahns….scorpion was a part of my life and i cant still smell her …if you were on scorp then you know what i mean…..she was a cat

    Yes, I do know that. The video makes a clear mistake though – Scorpion NEVER fired APDS, while the RARDEN-equipped vehicles do. That’s what the original poster was querying.

    The narrator actually talks about APDS over a shot of a Scimitar turret traversing – Scimitar uses the 30mm RARDEN cannon which does fire APDS, APSE, training, etc. I think it’s just an error.

    To clarify myself I believe the L23 was considered a low velocity gun and this would preclude any effective use of APDS (was there a APDS round for the Scorp?)
