I am thinking of buying a Nissan Elgrand which apparently has 3 litre diesel engine (although I think it may be 3.2) and just wondered what other vehicles this engine was in and how reliable they are?
It depends on the year.

My Nissan’s steering wheel is locked due to the Vehicle Immobilizer System and I can’t turn ON my ignition with the original car key… I tried many different things like locking and unlocking car doors with the key from the outside, leaving the key in the ignition for 10-15 minutes ...

There's a perception of American vehicle brands being inferior to companies like Toyota. Is this true or is this just a trend? I ask because I read an article mentioning how Chinese can't get enough of American vehicles; I'm confused.

No they do not have a ON-STAR yet. There are many systems available these days for real time tracking. Mostly aftermarket systems allow you to log onto a web page and know where and how fast the car is traveling.

Usually Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln vehicles look similar because their all part of the Ford Motor Company. But I thought Nissan isn't part of the Ford Motor Company. Yet the Nissan Quest and the Mercury Villager look exactly alike. Why is that?

I've been the only driver on my 2006 Nissan Murano. It has 23,400 miles. I've been told that the tires are needing replacement. I have been rotating the tires and had alignments done.
Is there a way to find out?
Can I get any kind of credit for tires that didn't meet ...

it seems like every car manufacturer has some sort of reduced APR incentives on financing their used vehicles. Bmw has 2.9, I've seen otheres around 1.9 or even like 4%. Does Nissan ever do something like this?
