Domestic Vehicles (Cars/SUV/Minivans) that can handle 4X8 sheet goods?

I am looking for a vehicle that can carry sheet goods (plywood, sheetrock, etc) during my side job on the weekends but can also have passengers (4-5) during my off hours for family time.
Ideally it should have rear passenger seats that can go down when not in use to carry the sheet goods. When I say "that can handle" I mean you can put the sheet goods in the car and close it all the way so i can drive at highway speeds without worry about it coming out.
I am not looking for commercial vehicles (Full size vans or Pick-up trucks). What make and models are my options?

So what CARs would be SUV ? Lets look at which ones are not on Truck plat forms.

Best is Subaru Baja AWD and pickup looking built on a Station wagon product line. heres a picture of one with Turbo

I need an SUV or SUV type vehicle. I want to be able to tow, yet most driving will be city/hwy. I like the clearance that SUVs have over crossovers. I also want something with a good rating and decent MPG, so looking towards a V6 not V8. I would like something to fit 4 people and their stuff. I’m not specific to import or domestic.

This is a popular market, I’m sure many of you have been looking for similar vehicles. Any tips, recommendations? Suggestions? Vehicles to avoid? I’ve been looking at: Envoys, Grand Cherokee V6, Liberty, Escape, TrailBlazer so far.

All the vehicles you listed are good choices, but you will just have to research each one.

You shouldn’t go after us who OWN SUV’s, you should go after the ones who approve them to be on the road. That’s like going after the person who buys the drugs instead of the drug DEALER!

I am wondering what the biggest American made sedan or coupe is right now? So SUVs (some of which are enormous, like Cadillac’s Escalade or Lincoln’s Navigator) I am also excluding custom made vehicles (like limos) as well as vans and trucks.

Other than SUVs and other vehicles mentioned above, what is the biggest American car currently being mass produced?

I’m guessing you are including the crossover vehicles like the SRX in the SUV class. The biggest sedans in the American made market are Ford Crown Vic / Mercury Grand Marquis / Lincoln Town Car next would be the Cadillac DTS

I detail cars, trucks and SUVS, and other vehicles. I do a great job too. I am only 14 but I am told I do great. I always do my best and I make cars look great when I am done, and I don’t think people take me seriously when I tell them I detail cars and I detail many people’s cars and they are repeated customers and the problem is that I usually always get ripped off because I don’t know if I should charge even close to what professionals charge, even though I do the job of a professional. I have been detailing cars for a few years now, and I get better every car. Please help!

It’s this skit where an old lady gets run over by an suv and the driver gets off to help. The old lady keeps making fun of the vehicle with the things she says, like, did i just get run over by a tank? and the driver says it’s big because she has children and the old lady says, "how many you got? like 12 or something" and the lady says she only has three. then the driver says she needs the space so that they can play and the old lady says that in her days they just took the children to the park….anyayw it is hilarious….can someone out there PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT EPISODE IT WAS or if you can add a a link to youtube if it’s there.
