    And in Afghanistan we’re allowing al queda and the taliban have a safe haven in Pakistan because we don’t want to offend our Pakistani “allies”. WWII should have proved that the best strategy for achieving victory and lasting peace and prosperity is using every tool at your disposal and doing what’s necessary to completely defeat the enemy. But for the last 60 years we’ve had a soft lefty defense policy. We pulled off a miracle in Iraq with this strategy and let’s hope we pull it off in Afghan.

    What really screwed …
    What really screwed us over in Vietnam is the same softness that screwed us over in Korea and now Afghanistan. We implemented a defensive strategy by keeping more our soliders and attacks in South Vietnam instead of bombing and attacking the heart of the communist North Vietnamese in Northern Vietnam and neighboring countries. And we didn’t listen to the hardliners duing the Korean War so it ended up in a stalemate and North Korea is still an insane and militant communist regime to this day.

    Vietnam was a War …
    Vietnam was a War that was not suppose to happen, but yet it did. We were not adapt and well aware how difficult the jungles would be for the man down there. We were commanded by a bunch of ignorant men in suits sitting behind a desk that no little about our condition. What makes America strong is not the men in office, but the people who put pride and compassion to this Country. Say whatever you want, but America will stand strong.
