What do the following symbols mean on U.S. military vehicles and aircraft ?
November 3rd, 2009 | by admin |i.e. a triangle or a circle or square or < or >
A triangle stands for Armor and the < or > usually represent which platoon that vehicle is (not everyone uses it). I’m not familiar with a circle or square being painted on any vehicles.

<, >, V or an upside down one usually indicate "Friendly" vehicles.
