What is the Texas law on junk vehicles on them being on privae property?
February 17th, 2010 | by admin |I have a 93 Nissan pickup. It is registered, inspected, and even insured legally. The city code enforcement gave me a citation saying that it is a hazardous vehicle. The pickup sits in my driveway and not on the street and I use it frequently. When I asked the enforcement office why they did this they told me that it is a state law. I do not agree with this and want to now if there is a law and who to contact to start a change.
It could be for several reason’s, on blocks, jacked up. You need to talk to the code enforcement people, they have got to tell you why.. Just telling you that its a hazardous vehicle is not a proper answer, you have he right to know!

first off, you alone have no power, contact Your local news agency or find more people in your area with similar problems. if you can’t do either, your gonna have to forward some bank, and get a lawyer. normally, a suit can get more done thenn a group can anyway. but they dislike the news agencies even more because then there mess ups will be all over the place.
