Are the helicopters/vehicles used in the attempts to put out the fires in the Chernobyl still radioactive?

I saw pictures of the vehicle graveyard, everything is still there but I was wondering if all the equipment is still radioactive today. I know that the reactor has thousands of years before its decontaminated.

they sure are, as a matter of fact when I was with the soviet military[i lived in Ukraine] my job was to coordinate buses, and other mass transportation vehicles which were going to be sent to assist in evacuation. i actually received a bit of radiation.

yes, between all of the biproducts from the fission action itself and the actual nuclear materials, the halflives are through the roof. dont know the exact current levels though.
